Very fine English portrait miniature of Edward Keir who died on a voyage to India in 1810 aged 29. The portait looks to be around the 1800-1810 period and painted by D McLeod (signed on rear of painting).It has the provenance of coming from the Scott Family of Hopetoun House Scotland. Original frame and condition with interesting information verso.
